Annie M. Davidson is the Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs and Compliance at Sanderson Firm. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and is a nationally recognized expert in Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance who speaks regularly across the country. Prior to joining Sanderson Firm, she was a Vice President of Client Success for a large MSP compliance vendor and before that she worked at a mid-sized insurance defense law firm in Minnesota litigating Workers' Compensation and Liability cases. She is the immediate past President of the Board of Directors of The National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSPN). In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the world with her loved ones.

Gus Ortiz has over 25 years of working experience in the workers compensation and risk management arena. He has extensive experience as a WC claims examiner, field investigator, vocational rehab counselor and finally as an expert in Medicare compliance. His company, BMA West Medical Financial Consultants, focuses on assisting public agencies, self-insured employers and third-party administrators nationwide with their Medicare compliance needs since 2006. He specializes in coaching self-insured companies through the Medicare Set Aside process, as well as coaching staff and providing personal consultations.

With over 20 years of legal, claims, and Medicare compliance experience, Jennifer is a trusted advisor to insurers and self-insured organizations navigating the complexities of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance. She focuses on building customized MSP compliance programs tailored to each client’s operational needs. Working directly on individual claims, Jennifer assesses future medical exposure and develops strategic solutions that support efficient and compliant claim resolution. Her deep expertise includes Section 111 Mandatory Insurer Reporting, auditing processes, strengthening internal controls to mitigate penalties, and managing conditional payment obligations.

John V. Cattie, Jr. is the Managing Member of Cattie & Gonzalez, PLLC. His law firm mitigates healthcare lien exposure, provides legal advice about compliance with federal laws such as the Medicare Secondary Payer Act, and protects claimants’ future access to Medicare & Medicaid benefits when resolving workers’ compensation, auto, liability insurance, or no-fault insurance claims involving bodily injuries. Mark Popolizio, J.D., is the Vice President of MSP Compliance for Verisk Casualty Solutions. He has been a nationally recognized thought leader in Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance since 2001. Mark practiced insurance defense litigation for ten years concentrating in the areas of workers’ compensation and general liability. As of 2006, Mark has dedicated his focus exclusively to MSP compliance working with carriers, self-insured, TPAs and other claims professionals in addressing MSP compliance issues. He releases numerous industry publications each year on Medicare compliance issues and CMS updates, including his yearly Medicare Watchlist report.

Rafael is a partner in Cattie & Gonzalez. He is a nationally recognized Medicare and Medicaid secondary payer subject matter expert. He practices, speaks, writes, and teaches about MSP compliance in liability, no-fault, and work comp claims and litigated cases.
